Casa do Raspador is a traditional rustic 2 bedroomed cottage with an 11metre shaped pool set in 7 acres of farming land in the Alentejo. Situated down a farm track within walking distance from the small Alentejo village of Garvao and 10 minutes drive from the sleepy historic town of Ourique. Though it is only a farming village - Garvao has a small minirmarket, several cafes and bars, plus a beautiful French Victorian Railway station with links to Faro and Lisbon. Larger Ourique, has many bars and restaurants, banks, shops, supermarket and now even boasts its' own Cinema! Go to the top of the main street and visit the site of the old castle and drink in the stunning views. There is a lake nearby for Windsurfing, Dinghy Sailing and Carp Fishing. To the west are many unspoilt beaches. Faro is one hours drive south and Lisbon just 90 minutes to the north.
