Wild Beaches
Sines is part of the St. Vincent and Southwest Alentejo Coast Natural Park, one of the best-preserved coast areas in Europe. There are some of the finest Portuguese beaches (“praias”), small bright sand sheets among huge rocks creating an ambience of intimacy and exclusiveness (from left - Praia Grande de Porto Covo, Praia da Ilha, Praia de Morgavel). At a little distance it’s countryside, with warm forests of pine and cork trees, where you can rest or have a picnic.

Beach of Odeceixe
You can have a pleasant walk at low tide. In the south there is a second bay, only accessible by low tide, it is called Praia da Adega. At high tide, the only access is down the cliffs. It provides excellent conditions for canoeing and boat trips.

Praia do Amoreira
Beautifully located beach close to the town of Aljezur, here
you can take a swimm in the sea and in the river. Extensive beach and dunes.
It is tending to become more and more frequented. Appreciate the detail of
the black rock at the northern top of the beach, it does remind one of a reclining
giant.

Lagoa de Santo Andre
North of Sines - miles of golden beaches. Ideal for Surfing
